Summary: Fun fantastic, frenetic. If it wasn't for the, up to 3 minute, load times I would have given a better review. The flow of the game is all but destroyed by buggy network code and unoptimized load times. I have played unfinished code that compiles faster than this.
Summary: First: we are semi-casual gamers. We (my kids, 7 & 9, and I) were REALLY looking forward to this, mostly because of the creation tools. We play a large variety of video games and do not shy away from games that are challenging in fair ways.
Summary: This is the first review I have written for Amazon. I really wanted to like the game, the single player mode is fun but didn't really draw me in. The real reason I bought the game was for 4 player split screen multiplayer.
Summary: This game is sort of a Mario Kart version for PS3, but does badly, because the gameplay is dull (boring) and not entertaining. The karts on Mario Kart are 1000x better and enjoyable to play than on MNR. Buy Blur instead of this as an arcade racer with power-ups for PS3, just like Mario Kart.
Summary: I can't rely recommend this, didn't think the driving was that fun, and well its a cart racer and the driving is a big part of it. Track creator was a bit quite underwhelming. And the load times are very long between tracks(there was a patch to fix this but it didn't to much...).
Conclusion: i can not help but compare this to mario kart wii if you played that you will be disappointed thats if you want to find some people to play online theres a few but be warned it took me 20min to find a game when compared to mario kart 10000s and takes sec's
Summary: Aims of mariokart and inevitably misses, not because its bad, in fact its a very fun karting game, but because mariokart is so fantastically brilliant and inventive. It's worth buying for a fun kart game despite the archaic loading times, but not if you want mariokart.
