Summary: At first blush, MLB 12 The Show is by far the best baseball game out there. Good graphics, good animation, realistic seeming pitching and batting. The problems start once you play a few seasons, especially in the career Road To The Show mode. After you play for a while and get a feel for the AI pitching and are able to lay off bad pitches, you improve as a hitter and your batting average starts to rise, and it's a rather satisfying experience.
Summary: Very minimal change from 2009 to 2012. First upgrade in 3 years, and I find that the only thing that is different is the speed of the ball of the bat and the names on the rosters. The game is a great baseball game, but value wise, there is little difference between the recent editions.
