It's not easy

Wut Manintu, Amazon
9 September 2013
  • Summary: I'm new to baseball game, and it's not friendly for new player to get into. I was hopping to have fun and get platinum. I don't think I hit any ball for 2 hours, and the online server is shutdown. I don't recommend this for new player.

Presentation vs. Playability

Palmtree7 "jsafran69", Amazon
24 March 2011
  • Summary: I've had every edition of this series since it started, and I've grown accustomed to the great graphics and the slick presentation. I've always found, though, that the playability needs quite a bit of tweaking to make the gameplay realistic. Thankfully, you have the ability to make these changes with the dozens of settings that you can customize with using the slider bar.

Go for 2k

Aidan Nevins, Amazon
16 March 2014
  • Summary: Honestly I didn't expect much but its just bad...Overall bad, franchise mode is weak and doesn't appeal to me although Baseball sims are one of my favorite genres. The hitting feels weak, Pitching is weak, Graphics are a plus, Music is weak and the menus are a pain. 2K is in every way better.
