Such a great series!

Summary: So happy with this buy! Have yet to beat the 3rd MGS and decided to purchase this since it claims it was "HD". The graphics have improved from the ps2 and loading times are much faster on the newer system. Wasn't expecting MGS: Peace Walker so I'm really looking forward to playing this as well.
Summary: Rather than spend time reviewing the HD Collection as a game - knowing full well that there are dozens of reviews which will most likely be far more helpful and complete than my own - I'll instead just cover this limited edition and the contents within.
Peace Walker disappoints, but 2 and 3 are magnificent!

Summary: Not much needs to be said about Metal Gear Solid 2 or 3. They're both amazing games and are in their best form yet with this HD upgrade. I don't regret paying $49.99 to play these two games once again, they're that good! The major downside to this trilogy would definitely have to be Peace Walker.
Summary: Metal Gear solid three was probably my favorite game on the Ps2 and one of my biggest disappointments with my ps3 was the lack of backwards comparability which made me miss out on ever going back. Now with this pack o get my wish plus being able to run 2 again and the new experience of peacewalker.
Summary: So, after years, they revamped the Metal Gear Franchise for current generation systems. I absolutely loved these games before they did this, but its a plus they added a little bit more detail to it.
Summary: The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection was more than I expected. Graphics were improved, highly, and the gameplay was smooth; unlike the past versions which sometimes became finicky. I already had MGS 2: Sons of the Patriots for PS2, and the improvements were convenient.
If you know the games you know what you are getting, this is great for fans of Peace Walker

Summary: Same old games as always. Most of the reason I bought this was to get Peace Walker on my PS3 instead of the tiny PSP. Controls are much better and the game runs great, lots of fun. Snake Eater is also good. MGS2 though seems to have aged VERY BADLY to me.
Summary: MGS1, 2, & 3 are some of my all time favorite games. It's a shame that the first title is not included here (I feel like Foxhound has yet to be outdone), but this remastered set does fine justice to the other two.
Summary: Some HD collections seem outdated because it was made for earlier systems. MGS HD collection was made so well at the time, that the game doesn't look bad at all by today's standard. I've spent more time playing this collection than recent titles I got sitting on the shelf. It's worth the money.
