Excerpt: While this is package offers three complete games from one of the best videogame series of all time, it is somewhat disappointing. The biggest disappointment with this package is that it doesn't include the original Metal Gear Solid (or even the Gamecube remake 'The Twin Snakes').
Summary: The HD has been done well, but I found ms2 almost unplayable. Ms3 was better but the controls are so annoying you really cannot appreciate how controls have become so much better. I have not tried the psp port yet. But what I can say the story's are amongst the best. The character are great.
Summary: This game is ok if you're a Meatl Gear Solid fan. The graphics have been upgraded but from what I can see the camera and controls are a bit appaling so unless you played it on the ps1, the first time round, prepare to be frustrated with the controls!
Summary: These are great games, some of the best ever, but its incomplete. It doesn't have Metal Gear Solid 1. I understand making a HD version of number 1 might be impossible (I don't know) but even just having it on there for archiving sake.
Excerpt: This game has some of the most entertaining story lines in games available. I have been an avid player of these games since they first came out on the playstation way back when. I love what has been done here, it is about time that they remake these games so that we can experience them in updated...
Pros: Great game . This game has so much to offer and the replayabilty is incredible
Cons: Some of the original VR training missions are missing
Excerpt: the Metal Gear Solid franchise is very popular and these three games show why. MGS2:sons of liberty is the worst game and has the most confusing it starts off good you play as snake on a recon mission that goes bad when russian terroists take over the tanker which happens to have metal gear ray...
Pros: really great games good story, gameplay and character development a win - win for any gamer
Cons: Metal Gear Solid 2 : sons of liberty is the worst and most confusing game of the series
Summary: As good as the games on this collection are, not including the original game
that started it all makes this set feel incomplete. That would be like excluding
a film from a trilogy collection because one of them is in black and white.
