Probably the worst game I've ever played
12 May 2014
Summary: I bought this game because I was drunk. It's the worst game I've ever played, but I admit I am not the intended audience. I gave it 2 stars because SOME kids may enjoy it. It has pretty shallow gameplay (jump, shoot/punch [same button], and interact), awful camera angles (expect to die many times while platforming), and hilariously holds your hand (90% of the way through, my sidekick was still reminding me that [circle] is the button to pick up a gun).
Summary: This game is a perfect example of a rushed product to meet the movie's deadline. The only reason anyone should really get this game is for the simple trophies/achievements. Really, there is no other reason. The reason I gave it two stars? It is great for trophy hunters.
Summary: Firstly, this isn't a terrible game. And it isn't broken. It isn't overly difficult and your lives are unlimited. It's also pretty easy to platinum and looks pretty good. But that's all the good I have to report. Most of the bad lies in the control scheme. Most platforming gamers rely heavily on the shadow of their character while jumping to get an idea of where they are while crossing obstacles such as those where a fall could kill you.
Summary: I know this is supposed to be ages 10+ but I bought it for my 5 year old. I usually go through and beat levels so he can go back and play at his leisure. This game was way too short. All the levels are pretty repetitive and my son got bored easily. Some of the mini games were fun but that's about it. My son never asks to play this game so all in all I think it was a waste of money.
