Summary: Insultingly underrated. Capcom made one of the smartest moves I've ever seen with their work on Mega Man 9! Not only does it capture everything that's great about the Classic Series, but they also managed to make it fresh and fun for newcomers.
Summary: This is a must have for anyone who remembers the good old 8-bit era. The game plays very well without framerate issues or screen writing problems from the old NES days. It feels like what the game creators wanted to make then, but obviously lacked the system resources to do.
Summary: Took the lame route and played MM10 first because of the Easy Mode. Mistake. The real magic of Mega Man 9 is not only in the revival of pitch perfect 8-bit era designs and sounds, but in the revival of perseverance in gaming.
Summary: This is has all that is needed to make a great game. Gameplay = 10/10 Story = 9/10 (Classic Megaman story, Love it!) Graphics = 10/10 (They managed to do EXACTLY what they were aiming for) Replayability = 9/10 (10/10 compared to other MM games, 8/10 compared to modern games) The little bonus = Nr.
Summary: Exceeds expectations in good and bad ways. Graphics are 8-bit awesomeness with sound to match. Difficulty is much tougher than the tough mode of Mega Man 2 on the NES, some of the obstacles are real head-scratchers.
