Medieval Moves Deadmund's Quest

Family Friendly Gaming
2 February 2013
  • Excerpt: Medieval Moves Deadmund's Quest comes to us from the same team that brought us Sports Champions. This Playstation 3 (PS3) Move title has sword fighting, archery, and throwing stars. The first two work better than can be expected. The throwing stars take some practice to figure out. Medieval Moves Deadmund's Quest is on rails.

Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest

BluRay Authority
8 March 2012
  • Excerpt: While a lot of motion control games tend to be mini-game collections, Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest bucks the trend and promises a story driven, action packed adventure. You control Deadmund, a prince who was turned into a cursed skeleton, on a quest to reclaim his kingdom’s great treasure. If he can defeat the evil Morgrimm and return the kingdom’s magical treasure, then he and his kingdom will saved from the curse.

  • Conclusion: Sony had all the marbles here. Zindagi Games knows the hardware, and yet the game they made falters in both longevity and marketing to make the real draw, online, something nobody will ever get to experience. For shame.

Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest PS3 Review

Console Obsession
25 November 2011
  • Excerpt: In Sports Champions, Zindagi Games brought to us the best Move launch title. With some excellent choices of sports such as Archery and Gladiator Duel, it really displayed the magic of Sony’s take on motion sensing, but at the same time, it was also a wonderful game. The developer obviously knows Move well, so the release of their newest game Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest has some high expectations to meet, at least in terms of controls.

  • Conclusion: If Zindagi makes another quest for Edmund, I hope it's not on rails. That loss of freedom really hurt the experience, and lent significantly to the monotony. Still, I can appreciate the effort and a lot of what is offered here, and ultimately this is one of the better Move games I have played.
