Summary: The game starts out okay but becomes ridiculously difficult. There are times when you feel you are fighting the entire German army all by yourself. It is hard to hit enemies but they have no trouble hitting you which leads to dying frequently. Additionally, you can play for fifteen minutes then die and you have to start the mission over. There are save points but not enough. The graphics do give you the feeling you're in WWII.
Summary: I heard this game was really good so I decided to purchase it... Problem was, my order was confirmed, so to say, but it did not ship. Either way I'm really grateful that a company associate sent me an email saying that i would not get the game because they were out of stock and that it was an accident that they confirmed it. I got my money back. I gave the rating a neutral 3 stars.
Summary: I can honestly say that the single player campaign was pretty good. I love playing shooters, and FPS are not my favorite but MOH: A was worth the price I paid for it. The online was TRASH, and I absolutly HATE how games are moving to R2 as the fire button. Overall, this game was worth the $30 bucks I spent on it, but I would NOT buy it for more than that.
Excerpt: A good game for the lover of first person shooters, however alot of let downs in this game for someone looking for more than just a shooter. I picked up this game soon after release and after playing Call of Duty 4 i was to say the least disappointed. The thing which makes this game different from other Medal of Honors is the ability to parachute jump, however i find the parachute jump, a horrible thing, hard to control, and landings always seeming to be blotched, you...
Conclusion: I was looking very forward to playing this as it's pretty much a mix of Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 but it's no where near any of those games. The campaign for starters is far too short and easy. I done it on hard mode and had it done in about 5 hours although I didn't finish it for ages as it just didn't interest me. The online is an absolute joke. Spawnkiller, campers, lag, everything that makes online multiplayer bad is here.
Excerpt: Not many reviews for this game, and the all of them are overall very positive, so it's going to be even harder for me to advise you not to get this game. Medal of Honor has to be my favourite war game series of all time. I remember the good ol' days of playing my Playstation 1 after tea, adrenaline pumping, desperate to get onto the next level. Constantly monitering that compass to check my health and find where my next objective is, and scrambling to try and find it. .
Pros: Good idea, good music, missions aren't terrible
Cons: Terribly short campaign, graphics aren't brilliant, Not fluid
Excerpt: Ive always liked the Medal Of Honor games, and have played them on PC/Mac and consoles. However this game is cracking. Apart from being able to pick it up cheap its got loads of longevity. The missions are quite tricky and vast but allow you to decide what you want to do first. The range of weapons are great and often find your self changing them to suit different missions.
