Excerpt: So there I was in my local game store trading in the new madden, when I see this game this game called medal of honor. I think back to when I first heard of this series(awesome linken park trailer) and thought to myself: if they they had a trailer that awesome it must not be too bad. I WAS WRONG. First off, I'm an avid FPS player(MW2,gears,and killzone) so I think I know a good FPS shooter when I play one. I'll start off with the story.
Summary: Alright, it sucks I have to put a disclaimer in my own review, but when dealing with video games and a crowd with a large number of hairless-chest thumping Justin Biebers, the word "fanboy" gets thrown around WAY too much. I will start my review by saying I own CoD4, MW2, and now MoH. I played the BFBC2 beta, I downloaded BF 1943 when it first released on the Playstation Store, but I have never played BFBC1 or the full release of BFBC2, so I came into the latest MoH with...
Summary: First off, let me say that I know this review is longer than many will care to read. If that's the case, check out part 6 at the end. I've numbered and titles the different sections of this review to help you navigate through them, should you only be interested in finding out certain things. Hope this is helpful. T.O.C. 1. Summary: I love the series but this campaign was so short and the ending was utter crap! Even on the hardest of settings, one could beat the game in a matter of days or hrs. depending on how long u play straight through. The Multi-player options lack lots of things and the most disappointing is the fact that we were told it would be 1080p in resolution, yet it is no more than 720p. The shading is horrible, the edges look like PlayStation one poly grams more than anything else.
Summary: Bought MoH because my friend raved about it. While the graphics are superb, the "fun factor" is a bit blah. The problem is that two different groups made the game. One group did the campaign - fantastic. The other the online play - boo. Online: For some reason you can't access all the maps in all the game modes. However, the real "makes no sense at all" part is that you can't go prone!
Summary: Pretty good game. Not on par with Call of Duty series, but fun for about a week. The graphics were just a level lower than Call of Duty, but the gameplay was easy to pick up and kept my attention for a few days.
