Summary: The title of my review pretty much sums it up for "Max Payne 3".The only two good chapters that you play through, are chapter #4 "Anyone Can Buy Me A Drink" and chapter #8 "Ain't No Reprievement Gonna Be Found".In these two chapters,Max along with an old police buddy named Raul Passos, has to shoot their way through a bunch of mobsters, when a bounty is put on Max and Raul's head, after Max kills the son of a New Jersey crime lord, named Anthony DeMarco. The rest of the...
Summary: Where to begin. The cover controls are a mess. You pop up when you want to duck, you go left when you want to go right, I'm amazed to see controls this bad in a final product. And what to say about the cut scenes. Long, pretentious, and unwatchable. Every effect known to film is used. What comes to mind is a really bad student film. Truly a bad, bad game.
It felt too long and long is usually a good thing.

Summary: I couldnt wait to finish this game. Some of the action is really good and at times the story is cool especially the Brazil parts which are most of the game. The parts of the game that takes place back in the US are boring and pointless to me, and some of the parts in Brazil drag on too long. It doesnt make much sense of why he is obligated to help this family even though he works for them. But I do want that hawaiian shirt.
Summary: A lot of May Payne fans were dismayed by the early publicity for this game, fearing that it completely transformed their beloved Noir hero. For the most part this is a reinvention of the character, but it is still very faithful to the roots of the previous games. However, I was not very impressed with it.
Horrible controls, endless cheap deaths ruin an otherwise good game and story

Summary: I've been a big fan of Max Payne 1&2 on the PC, so I figured I'd finally give the 3rd one a try, got it cheaper at the time for PS3. It's with great disappointment I write this review, and I don't write reviews often but I simply couldn't let this one go. If you like endless cheap deaths-due in large part to SLUGGISH, unresponsive controls, have they got a game for you.
