Summary: To keep it succinct, the game, the story, the character of MAX PAYNE.....all are faded shadows of a great original in this 3rd sequel. I put this game right in the with the recent Duke Nukem release. There is a reason that quality games like the "modern Warfare" series hold their value for so long and a game like this is reduced to under 16bucks so quick like.
Summary: As the title says- this game is a "pain" - pun intended. Basically it is 5-10 minutes of playing the game, followed by 5-10 minutes of a watching a non-skippable cut scene that then dumps you in the worse position you could be in facing multiple enemies. Rinse and repeat over and over.
Summary: I was terribly disappointed in MP3. I picked it up on sale and have been so frustrated with this game that I've been tempted to just stop playing it and sell it off. I had MP1 and 2 on PC back in the day and was looking forward to this game. I had heard that the controls were not very good on PC so I opted for the PS3 version and it has not been a very fun experience. The Good: * Graphically it looks fairly nice. Colourful and varied environments.
Summary: The games great to play off line but the on line is rattled with issues from not being able to kill other players to disconnects from host. There's little to no support and as like my self. I'm told the game is broken but we don't have a fix date. My game you cant kill any other player on line and they will not fix it. If you plan on buying this game please go to Rock Stars support and read all the issues every one who owns the game has.
Summary: It was only three chapters in when the game froze during a cut scene and began a high pitched scream for about 30 seconds and then went on like normal. Every cut scene the game decided I didn't want to be holding the weapon I was holding and replaced it with a pistol. Why on earth would I drop a shotgun full of ammo for a pistol with half a clip? Who knows? This isn't the worst game I've ever played and the cut scenes can be enjoyable when they don't look like crap.

Summary: If you're tired of playing games that are relaxing and fun, this is a great game to make you remember what games were like in 1998. Remember those games where if you stepped out of line once it kills you? Enjoy that frustration all over again with Max Payne 3! This game is more of a movie than a game.
Summary: As a huge fan of the originals, I was a bit skeptical when I saw that Rockstar was going to develop their own Max Payne game. I loved the noir and the grittiness that Remedy crafted with the first two Max Payne games as well as the Matrix-esque bullet time gameplay. I have also loved most of Rockstar's own developed games such as the GTA series and Red Dead Redemption.
Summary: After playing this about half way all I could do was hope it would end soon. The cutscenes are very long and gameplay is repetitive and boring, clear room full of bad guys, proceed through door, clear another room, get to a an area where you're stuck in one spot with one weapon that you need to use to kill a certain number of enemies in a certain order, rinse & repeat. The weapon sight/reticle is TINY, and makes aiming extremely difficult.
