Summary: Fans have certain expectations while going into a Bioware game, great story, writing and incredible characters. They do not disappoint with the Mass Effect series. The best story driven sci-fi RPG franchise in gaming. I have played these games first on PC (the best way to play these games) and recently on PS3 after buying the trilogy edition. The best way to experience these games is in sequence carrying over saves from one installment to the next.
Summary: I haven't even gotten past the first game and I'm already hooked. $30 for 3 games is a deal especially with games I've heard so many good things about. I look forward to following this story, too. I'd describe this game as PS3's version of Halo but with a more RPG feel to it.
Summary: Great games, characters, and universe. Between the combat and conversations these games were fantastic. Looking back I don't know why they stripped options in character builds and conversation paths. Especially in the third it seemed like the conversation system was devolved which is weird because the first two games had so much detail. Lastly why the hell did they take the mako away. That hammerhead was garbage and the thing in the 3rd game was just lame.
Summary: Despite the ending it really is one of the best stories put into video game form. The fact that people got so worked up about the ending is directly a result of how completely immersive and how attached you get to the story.
