Fun game with your boys
2 May 2014
Summary: This is a fun game to play with your younger boys. It is not especially difficult game to play for adults. Sound effects and dialogue are lacking. What dialogue that does exist is humorous especially with Thor. My boys are 6yo and find this game challenging to play. They do enjoy the format and the game play is not excessively violent, no blood or gore but the object is to "beat up the bad guys" as my boys would say. Enjoy.
Summary: My son loves all things video games and Marvel. He received this as an Easter present and he said that the game was not that great. He enjoys all the LEGO games so I thought that he would have loved this, but NO. Stick with the LEGO video games, they are well done and kids love them.
Summary: The controls are loos and the game at times was frustrating to play by your self the computer partner would half of the time stand there while you would be trying to accomplish a task and not protect you. We would have to play two players to even advance on some of the levels. Poor game all around.
Summary: My four year old is able to play this, not well, but not poorly, with a parent helping. We prefer the Lego games, but really wanted one with Spider-Man for him. My only pet peeve is it "dumbs down" the characters the same way it does in the marvel super hero squad show, which I didn't watch until after we got the game. It's not really a downfall, just makes it less fun for the adults.
