Summary: The game is good, but I prefer the older versions of 2K. As they get more realistic the game becomes more difficult and not as fun to play in my opinion. To each their own though, I just liked being able to slam them out of the park which isn't easy like previous 2k games.
Summary: ...the game itself still isn't very fun to play, unless one manipulates those slider bars. Rookie level is too easy, Pro level is way too difficult to make for an enjoyable, competitive game. I do like that "Automatic Fielding" was added this time around. Let the computer chase those stupid fly balls and hard grounders up the middle!
Summary: I actually rented this game to see how it played. Glad I did as I won't be buying. The good is that the pitching style is really involved, making you make certain stick movements rather than the old 'swing meter' that is so boring. The announcers are great, though the timing of the remarks is off somewhat. The 'ok' is the batting, it's actually kinda fun if a bit simplistic. Fielding is ok as well, with the new throwing meter adding a bit.
