Summary: This game challenges you to an extent where irritation builds up and overflows, I have been playing on and off for about a week and can say i will not buy a new game anytime soon, great way to master skill and work towards gaols for your character i am eager to becoming great at it.
Excerpt: MAG stands for massive action game. There really could not be a better name for this game. This reveiw will cover the now current running 2.0 patch with move support as well as the current dlc. Mag has 3 factions that fight 2 at a time over control of objectives . each faction has its own armor, weapons, vehicle types and base designes. The factions are Valor represented with green, Raven being blue and Seryi Volk Executive Response or S.V.E.R. for short who are orange.
Excerpt: After having played MAG for a few hours in the early days of it's release, I had the pleasure of reading Ben's review of the game. He started off by saying that his review was limited due to his inherent despise, if you will, of the genre. While many people couldn't blame him, I give you my review from the perspective of a person who has logged over 400 hours and has achieved platinum in MAG.
Summary: This was possible the best FPS in a 5 year span call of duty in any shape or form could not compete for scale of play but after firing Zipper Sony took it upon there selves to close the servers down for this game as from the 28/01/14 this game can not be played as this was an online game only please read before thinking of buying as this game is no longer playable.
Summary: While this is a fantastic game, sadly dwindling player numbers see its flagship mode no longer played, and the servers being shut down on 28/jan/2014. Its prob not worth getting into now, with existing players coming back for a Reunion during the last 6 weeks, before we all sob for our loss and try to find another game like this one. Please pester Sony about making MAG 2. :( Again; this game has NO SINGLE PLAYER MODES and will simply NOT WORK come 28th of January 2014.
Summary: This is one of my favourite games of the last few years - hours and hours and hours of my life have disappeared into it. However, you should not buy it if you expect to play after 28th January 2014. The servers are being shut down then and since this is an online multiplayer game only (ie. no single player campaign) it will not be playable after then.
