Summary: In the fall of 2011 I bought MAG, I had enjoyed MW2 and was looking for a multiplayer shooter. I knew that MAG had been released about the time or shortly after MWF2. I do feel that the graphics are acceptable for the time of release, and I believe that they still hold up well. If you buy the game today 4/30/2012 you will be slightly dissappointed if you have been playing the newer military shooters that were released like MWF3 or BF3.

Summary: Very informal review that im going to write about MAG. I thought the developers of MAG had a good idea in mind when they designed this game. I mean, putting 256 players in a single FPS match seems like an epic idea - and on paper, it is. the extent in which they made the game fit 256 people in a match and have it NOT lag like a Modern Warfare 2 blew my mind. It also relies heavily on squad communication and organization.
Summary: This game only works over the internet.u have to have an internet connection to play.but apart from that game is ok.seller despatched very quickly.good price.i had no need to contact the seller cause a smooth transaction all round..thanx.
Excerpt: Mag, a ps3 exclusive multiplayer only MASSIVE war game. The story is nearly non existant and just gives you an incentive to kill the other factions of SVER (a punk guerilla warfare army) VALOR (CLassic american army with standard looks and tactics) and RAVEN (a futuristic elite fighting force) The guns all feel similar which is good for balance but the guns you unlock are occasionaly so similar that you barely notice the differance which is annoying.
Pros: MASSIVE 256 player minimum lag . has been frequent patches, great custumization .
Cons: not so great graphics, some guns feel almost identical .
All in all a fun game, with loads of potential just a bit of a shame it never really took off

Excerpt: I bought this game preowned from Game for only £15, I had never heard of it before, but could not believe what the game was offering, 256 player online battles!!! So for £15 I thought, I have got myself a real bargain here, however I would not say it was a waste of money but I would say it wasn't bargain of the century, as I will explain.
Excerpt: The development cycle of this game brought us, the consumer, alot of hype for this game. Not because it was a sequel to anything, it wasn't, rather the hype for something that had never been done before, having vast maps filled only with player controlled characters, up to 256 of them. This is ground breaking as until this game the most i had personally seen on a map was 18. However the game's release was put back and the hype died down.
Pros: Unprecidented enormous battles up to 256 players . Command structure . Levelling up system .
Cons: Commanders sometimes don't have a clue and arent punished for bad decisions . Larger maps confusing
Excerpt: MAG (Massive Action Game) is a PS3 exclusive First Person Shooter. It has not and will not be released on any other console. Many playstation exclusives turn out to be very good however MAG is just mediocre. MAG is only playable online so if you do not have an internet connection don't bother with this game. Playstation online is free which is a nice bonus, unlike the Xbox which costs around £40 a year.
Summary: I bought this game and the first thing i noticed was the long amounts of time it took to find and join a game. The gameplay is overall really good, The amount of players really adds to the suspense of the fight and the huge maps gives you allot of space to flank and tactically maneuver through the enemy lines of defense. I believe that this game is ok and is not a MUST get but is great if you want a more intense fight with more than just 16 players in the game!!
Conclusion: this game is good but does not do it for me as does modern warfare or battlefield. I found the physics of the game very off and found this game boring at times. However this is just my opinion and many people do enjoy this game alot.
Conclusion: I like this game, the amazing environments and good graphics. THe gameplay is good but because of the huge amount of players you die quiet freequently. The guns are not the best and with no single player mode I didnt love it. The armies are all different but its fun customizing your soldier and picking his/her gear. Another down fall is that you can only have one profile so you cant experiment with the different armies.
