Summary: Like a lot of other reviewers, my main interest in purchasing this particular game was the Sunday Ticket. After some initial problems week one and part of week two, the ticket has not disappointed, thus the two stars. Regarding Madden however... ugh! What a let down. The game is awful. The menus alone prompted me to sell thus game within a week of buying it. Couple that with gameplay that hasn't improved in years, in my opinion, and its just time to give up on Madden.
Summary: It's a fun game when it doesn't crash. It constantly freezes during offline franchise mode when I try to advance the week. This is the second time this year EA has put a game out that has frozen during franchise or dynasty play. The boys at NCAA 2014 has finally fixed that issue but it took weeks for it to be resolved. I'm really would like to enjoy a EA Football game without worry about it freezing. I guess those days are gone.
Summary: We miss Madden 12... fun, creative, competitive, addictive, close to reality (nearly a simulator) The last two versions of Madden are destroying a reputation gained in +2 decades, and without a competitor!!! "Connected Franchise" is a feature that real fans don't accept; EA staff don't insist please. Is very limited compared with the pure "Franchise" mode of the previous versions. I can't understand why spectate mode (CPU vs CPU) disappeared in the last two versions.
Summary: . plus the game always has my guy toss the ball behind him, i have ran punts and kicks back so many times, then all of a sudden, with just holding up on just the left joy stick, my RB or WR will toss the ball behind him.
Summary: One word: Disappointing Thought this year could have been the year Madden broke the mold and finally became innovative but instead we were left with the same shell of a game with a few minor tweaks in an attempt to get us excited in video previews. It worked and I was suckered into buying it yet again and almost immediately regretted my decision. Madden is perennially the most disappointing game on the market and this year is no different.
Summary: Lack of franchise mode where you could play both sides of the ball. Do not like the sim mode when playing alone or online. Totally disappointed. Went back to Madden 11. Lacks the graphics but at least you can play both offense and defense.
Summary: The graphics are very good, but the connected franchise mode is totally a miss. I elected to try the online my player connected franchise, I practice every week in an effort to increase my xp points so I could earn a starting spot but the computer player increased much faster than I did. I was on the Browns for goodness sakes. Wen through a whole season as a backup with 85 rating.
Summary: Online gameplay is too laggy. If you like to play online games this stinks. I buy madden every year and its an improvement some what from last year but its slow and jumpy online. If they improve that part it would be good. But wait for the ps4 version hopefully they improve on the online with the new system.
Summary: I recently posted a review of this game when I got the game but not the game itself.Mainly,it was just a review on how it was worth it for Sunday Ticket alone and only played a few games here and there but never a full season.Just for the record,I dont play games online and dont really pay much attention to details like if the graphics are better then previous, upgrades, blah, blah, blah.
