Summary: Pros Newest version of the game with the newest teams Graphics are good Physics are decent Running has a lot of options, I especially like that you can't just do the same move over and over and get away with it throwing on the run isn't the easiest, unlike previous maddens you can't just take Michael Vick run around the backfield and throw a 60 yd bomb off your back foot Cons running is next to impossible to stop.
Summary: Like a lot of other reviewers, my main interest in purchasing this particular game was the Sunday Ticket. After some initial problems week one and part of week two, the ticket has not disappointed, thus the two stars. Regarding Madden however... ugh! What a let down. The game is awful. The menus alone prompted me to sell thus game within a week of buying it. Couple that with gameplay that hasn't improved in years, in my opinion, and its just time to give up on Madden.
Summary: . plus the game always has my guy toss the ball behind him, i have ran punts and kicks back so many times, then all of a sudden, with just holding up on just the left joy stick, my RB or WR will toss the ball behind him.
Summary: One word: Disappointing Thought this year could have been the year Madden broke the mold and finally became innovative but instead we were left with the same shell of a game with a few minor tweaks in an attempt to get us excited in video previews. It worked and I was suckered into buying it yet again and almost immediately regretted my decision. Madden is perennially the most disappointing game on the market and this year is no different.
Summary: Lack of franchise mode where you could play both sides of the ball. Do not like the sim mode when playing alone or online. Totally disappointed. Went back to Madden 11. Lacks the graphics but at least you can play both offense and defense.
Summary: I knew beforehand there were some changes made to the Madden franchise, but I bought this anyway due to wanting to play friends. The gameplay and graphics are what I expect from the madden franchise, and I also like the the training aspect in the latest version. I also like the option of playing my favorite team's game each week. That being said I would caution anyone buying this game for anything other than a one year play.
Summary: I bought this game for the NFL Ticket offer. I will probably sell the game on eBay. It's really two products combined, so it's worth separate reviews: NFL Ticket - $100 for access to the Ticket is a hell of a deal, even if it's oversold a bit. "Every NFL game" really means about two-thirds of the games. There is no coverage of Thursday nights, Sunday nights, Monday nights, games being shown locally, and games subject to blackouts.
Summary: Many have reviewed the game, however, this is the anniversary edition, and I purchased this only to have access to Sunday Ticket. I live in an apartment and DirecTV is not an option for me. The only way I have access to watch games is online. Normally this package is $300, so when I saw this deal, I jumped at it. Registration was simple on Directv's website and I have been excited about catching all the games.
