Summary: The last Madden I bought for PS3 was 2010. Not much has changed since then. In fact it actually a little worse animation wise. It's choppy and not fluid at all. I know they made the physics more "realistic" so tackles wouldn't all look the same. But the realism makes it just look like robots playing. My major concern is that I bought this in September of 2014, after Madden 15 was released because of the price drop, but the game is still unplayable with the update.
Summary: I'm sure the usual people that always love madden love this one too - but since there are no other NFL football games this is all you get and it has no fun value at all. No competition always leads to lack of quality and Madden proves this again. I have no FUN playing this game. I bought it for the NFL Sunday ticket and I tried playing it a couple times and just hated every single moment.
Summary: After buying the last two Madden's with frustation abounding, I decided to rent this one just to see if there might be improvements...no, not one, in fact it's worse. How could this game be worse? It appears as if all the pride that went into the game back in the day (and it was the hallmark game when I owned a Sega Genesis, was rather like the holy grail of sports games), has just been drained. Perhaps it's the king on the hill syndrome?
Summary: Don't waste your time or money on this POS. While the actual game play wasn't bad, it's still not even worth the trouble of playing because of all the issues with it. It takes forever to navigate the screens, probably because it looks like they tried to make it based on Windows 8, load times take forever, there was an issue with the game randomly freezing though that seems to have been corrected recently.
Summary: I will keep this short. I have been a long time Madden buyer for 15 years. This has to be the worst year ever! Offensive line men missing blocks and running down field like they are going out for a pass. RG3 raises up off his back like a spring board to tackel a line backer that recoverd his fumble. A clipping call on my special teams "3 TIMES" in a row on a punt return! Really?
Summary: Unbelievable the game dosen't work, constantly freezes up. I have been reading that this has happened to many customers this year. EA sports has sunk to a new low screwing thousands of loyal fans out their money when we have been buying their products year after year. I have bought Madden every year since 1997, this year will be the last for sure. 70 bucks, what a joke. What a bunch of theives.
Summary: First of all, this isn't the worst Madden of all time but it sure does not warrant a pass. This game has so many flaws that I will detail shortly. The graphics seem to be repetitive, Alex Smith looks like Aaron Rodgers. The personas for each player isn't entirely similar to real life, Terrele Pryor looks so dark that it even begs the question: do they really scout and analyze NFL players? It sure doesn't seem to be. Now, to the flaws.
No reason to buy this other than cheap sunday ticket
Tim Garvin, Amazon
10 November 2013
Summary: I feel like I bought $110 Sunday Ticket (a steal, considering last year was $300) and got this crappy game for free. I played a few games, the strategy stuff is there which is cool, but with inconsistent controls and graphics that make me feel like I'm still playing with a PS2. This franchise is really starting to show its age. There has been no incentive to make the game better ever since EA's exclusive rights to NFL teams and player names.
The First Time I've Ever Returned An Item To Amazon
C. M. Enis "HuskyBro", Amazon
27 October 2013
Summary: I recently returned this game because the freezing issues were insanely ridiculous. That's why I gave the game 1 star. Otherwise, I probably would have given it 3 stars, the only feature that I liked was the NFL Draft. The gameplay was average, everything else was weak to a mess. This was the first Madden I had purchased in two years and it hadn't improved much since then.
