Summary: I didn't have problems with glitches or lags it was online gamplay. Don't play this game I threw mine in the trash. Too many interceptions running game fumbles returning kickoffs u never get beyond 20 yard line
Summary: I have bought Madden every year (not Including Madden 12, that was a Gift from a friend) for the past 6 years and this year by far has been the most disappointing one yet, a big step back. Many features that I had grown to love have been taken out of the game (NFL Draft Class Import, Fantasy Draft, and many other features). I do like the New infinity engine is a great improvement but is sometimes sloppy.
Summary: I brought this game a month ago, the design and feature looks good, but bad developing. the example i have is, when i play online head on head when i want to hit the field to win game, it never showed me option to hit the goal and it is nearer 20 yard line 6 second left. what should i do?..finally i lost the game. like this i experienced some other issues with this game. so i would not refer this game to anyone and it is not worthy of $60.
Summary: If you are a franchise fan like me then this game is not for you! Franchise mode or career mode is horrible! You cant edit the roster at all, you cant even bring in your edited roster in to career mode. The other thing I hate is the force of practice every week! Game play is improved but the real time physics stumble and fall down to much. Oh yeah no more importing draft class either. Worst madden ever!
Summary: I'm a Madden Football fan from waaay back, over the course of various systems and had high hopes for Madden 13 even after having read all the "no Franchise mode" reviews. I loved Franchise mode and figured the new gameplay would just take some getting used to. Having played through 2 seasons worth of the Career set up as a Coach now, I have to just say this: EA has taken a relatively smooth game and made it as cumbersome and clunky as their Head Coach was several years...
Summary: Not at all happy with this new addition to Madden Football. The single biggest problem is that PS3 console games should not crash or freeze up and Madden 13 does freeze up and crash. With PC games I understand there are so many hardware - software combinations that even with serious Quality Control Play Testing there's bound to be a few issues. In two attempts at "career mode" both have ended in crashes. Unacceptable for a console game.
Summary: Another classic case of EA Sports trying to out think the room. Don't fix what's not broken guys! Sheesh. The game is a step up in terms of graphics and fluid game play. But it took an awful, boneheaded step backwards when they decided to axe the franchise mode. Any gains made by better gameplay (which is debatable) is a wash now. Not all of us (in my estimation most of us) play the game online.
Summary: Okay, so if you play this game by yourself online, and that's ALL you do, then you might not agree with this review... ...however, if you are like me, I primarily play offline franchise mode, so drastically changing this feature is a risky gamble for EA when it comes to gamers like myself. The only two words that I can use to describe 'franchise mode' this year is: EPIC FAIL.
Summary: Graphics look dated, Characters go flipping and glitchy when colliding every time not just once and a while. Sidelines are lacking anything interesting, playcalling has taken a step back. Franchise mode/Be a coach is weak and feels like they want you to play/train every week for your career. Be a Pro is terribly easy, no difficulty starting up. Built a HB and they gave me a 85 rating dominated from day 1 yet I chose the undrafted route....Very realistic.
