Summary: A friend and I had decided to stay up one night and give this game a try and it was nothing like any of the old maddens it was plain out right terrible. I was a fan of madden games but this title changed my mind completly. The reason why i say this is because when him and I were playing my quarterback threw a pass to my receiver and he was out of bounds and he was clearly out of bounds and they ruled it as a catch in bounds.
Summary: My husband has been a Madden NFL player/purchaser since the beginning of time and was totally disappointed in the 2010 version. He agrees and is experiencing all the complaints logged in by the other reviewers who gave it one star. Please read the one star reviews before considering this purchase. It is inexpensive for a reason.
Summary: Unlike any other game I've played on the PS3, this game does not allow you to play the advertised online franchise mode indefinitely. You can only play the franchise mode for ten seasons using the included code. If you have purchased the item used, like I did, you're SOL. EA sports has now made it perfectly clear how they intend their games to be purchased year after year and have deliberately decreased their features in a manner that makes Madden a yearly $60 purchase.
Summary: My first experiance of madded came back in 99 and compared to gameday i hated madden. Madden bought out all the rights to other football frenchises. I ended up playing madden 05 for the ps2. I loved it. player progression even if you didnt want to do the training camp each week. Which in my busy life i dont want to spend all my time perfecting training camp simulations, and button mashing.
This is a video game... NOT a football simulation.

Summary: I have to prefrence this review by saying that I haven't bought a Madden game since Madden 07 for the PS2. I'm an old college football player who loves the game of football for the complexities in strategy and team building aspects. I was blown away by the depth and realism of the 07 game for the ps2. That was truly an amazing football game. Having said that, I bought a PS3 and Madden 10 because it got such great reviews as a simulation of the game of football.
Summary: Wow. Terrible. Beyond terrible. Is it possible to create a football game that doesnt have this many glitches? From the facts about the Bengals, Bears, Browns (supposed to be the Lions), to running right through a quarterback on All Madden difficulty (just cant seem to sack them sometimes), it truely seems as though plays and games are predetermined and there is nothing a gamer can do to change the outcome.
Summary: I have been a long time player of the EA Sports NCAA football series and thought I would give Madden a shot this year. I have been extremely disappointed as the gameplay is horrible, the player movements are slow and the entire $[...] is a waste of money. If you are a fan of NCAA, DO NOT GET THIS GAME. I thought the gameplay would be the same, but for some reason it is much slower and almost painful to play.
Summary: This is by far the WORST Madden I've ever played. The controls are absolutely unresponsive and clunky. When attempting to move players, they often do not respond to the buttons pressed. When on defense, pressing dive to tackle - your player will do one of three things: he won't do anything, he will literally fall straight down, or if you're lucky 1 out of 10 times he'll actually dive. And don't even try to intercept the ball on your own.
Summary: Somebody at EA Sports should be fired. This year's version of Madden, like last years, is so concerned with graphics and "realism" that it can't be bothered to do the simple things right. I have faithfully bought Madden every year since SEGA, yet only the two Playstation 3 versions have disappointed me. No doubt, people enjoy games for different reasons; I came to enjoy "Franchise" Mode more than actually playing the game.
