Summary: Recently, a few friends of mine were looking to play Madden together. We aren't huge madden fans, but wanted to play on a PS3. Instead of buying a new game ($60), we went the used game route ($4) and are we ever satisfied.
Summary: I have owned this game before, traded it, rented it and bought it again. It's safe to say that although it's like others, as far as gameplay goes, I just can't forget the feeling I got when I first stepped onto the newly designed field at invesco mile high and my jaw dropped.
Summary: I'm surprised to see all the negative reviews for Madden 09, it plays a terrific game of football to me. My main beef with 08 was the choppy gameplay and that has been improved with 09's 60 FPS play on the PS3. The graphics are nicer and I like the commentary more than 08 as well.
Summary: Controlling the receiver- at least they make somewhat of an attempt to catch a ball when you take control of the receiver. Sometimes it does'nt matter if you hold the pass button for a long time or tap. I held the button to drill a pass and it was a lob, same problem- fix it!
Summary: The games don't come in separate cases for those looking for that feature. Madden 09 is a good game, but NFL Head Coach 09 is worthless. If you're just interested in Madden 09, get that instead. This Collector's Edition isn't worth the extra money.
Summary: I would like to first point out that, in general, the game has been improved over previous versions. There's no doubt about that. Not only is Madden gaming incredible in high definition, but the way the game analyzes and adjusts to you is simply amazing.
