Summary: The only thing improved on this game is the graphics. It is much harder to find plays that you want and it is harder to navigate through the play sreens. The sprint button seldom makes any difference and the kicking game is much harder. If my ps2 was still working I wouldn't be playing this version.
Summary: This is by far the worst Madden game I have ever played. First of all, the game play is choppy at best. Second, compared to other PS3 games, the graphics are terrible. Third and most annoying, you can't customize controls. The standard controls are amazingly different than any PS Madden game before.
Summary: I'm reviewing this game knowing that they've been making Madden for 20 years. With that about of time and experience, some of what is on display here is inexcusable. Graphics: I'm not sure what everyone's talking about, but this is the same engine we've seen for the last several years.
Summary: Alright, first let me say this is a HUGE dissapointment for me. A lot of people have already pointed out the big drawbacks. Let me just add some more now after playing this title for a little bit. One, I can't run against anybody in this game!
Summary: Wow look at all the madden fan boys complain about how low ppl are rating this piece of crap. if you say this game is good then u are sad. it is terribly broken. AU (Artificial Unintelligence) is worthless. and most ppl who are not on their knees to EA can see this.
Summary: I wrote a review of Madden 08 on here last year so I'd thought I'd follow it up with a review of this years edition. Or should I say Madden 2000.9? Now before you pass this off as a Madden-bashing review let me give you my qualifications.
Summary: This game does not deserve the outstanding praise that its getting from the major review sites. The AI is completely broken, your teammates will either be catching long bombs without looking or bobbling easy passes to the chest.
Summary: Madden '09, the 20th anniversary, pays homage to the series by bringing its namesake back into the picture--not in his traditional position in the booth, mind you, but as a guy who takes a backseat to the rest of the game. This isn't my issue, my issues lie with the game itself.
