Summary: The bottom line with this game: if it had spent six months to a year longer in the cooker it would've been something special. As it is, it is an average action game with a top notch story and acting, spotty presentation, and short length. Ten hours average, fifteen if you dig. As has been stated, the story and characters are what drive it, and as time goes on, they become your only real reason to keep going.
Summary: This product meets all expectations that I needed. I like the state as arrival at their destination. Brand new. I recommend this game for its magnificent history, verbal content, sound, graphics and environment in which it develops.
Summary: The game has really good graphics and sound. The story is top notch and interesting, but the pace of the game, the guns and the side missions are really boring and repetitive. I just couldn't finish the game. If you love the Dead Space series, trust me, you don't need this one on your collection, just stick with Dead Space. I bought this game thinking that it would be something like Dead Space, but it is nothing close to it.
Summary: I liked the first Lost Planet, the second was OK for a multiplayer game, but the third is so long and trudging I just wish I had stuck with the first one. I do like this game and its plot gets better as it goes along, but it takes so long to get there and there's just a lot of maintenance work and walking around to do before things happen. This really could have been a great arcade platformer but it just got too lost in banal busywork for me.
Summary: So sad. Way worse than the first two games. At the beginning, you will watch more of a movie and play during that movie doing useless time waste. They improved on the grapple, but took away any jumping. After playing the first two games, I literally gave up after 1hr of watching stupid clips I couldn't get out of to play the game. On the second note, the second game was obsessed with stupid trains, and was very short.
Summary: LP3 is a nice little shooter. First person and 3rd person gives a nice break from the same old thing. Nice planet, a little limited, not a complete open world. The locations are nicely done and the life forms are really well done. Lots of critters to shoot and story lines running throughout. They did a really nice job on the sound effects.
Summary: It's an OK game, not enough late game content to keep you doing the side quests though. I am a bit disappointed that i have made it through the most of the game with shotgun and assault rifle, and the lack of addition upgrade to certain guns past 1 upgrade sucks. The mech is great...
