Summary: If your looking to be sized up by huge monsters and use some i-tech gear then this is your game. The boss battles i'd have to say are so memorable that a little hick up or two doesn't seem to bother. Playing this game also puts you in the seat of a robot which i'd say has to be a way better experience than any mecha game.
Summary: I bought this game because of a friend of mine. He brought it over my house and we attempted to play online. Ofcourse it didnt work because only one player can play online, so i went and bought my own so we could both play together. i think its a cool game, sum of the bosses are questionable, but hey ive seen alot worse. Overall its a good game especially if you play with other REAL people.
Lost Planet 2 is a fantastic co-op shooter experience,

Summary: Yet it suffers somewhat if played in single player mode. The follow-up to 2007's Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions is a different beast to its predecessor. The plight of Wayne, snow pirate protagonist of the first game, is largely forgotten. The sequel begins ten years later, still set on E.D.N. 3, but it's a very different climate. Vast expanses of snow have melted to make way for lush jungles, scorching deserts and grungy, run down facilities.
Summary: Being a huge fan of the first game I practically died when Lost Planet 2 was announced. However, I was utterly disheartened when it slammed in the reviews. Thanks to GI for giving this game what it deserves. This game is a gem. The graphics are gorgeous. The Akrid are bigger and badder than ever before. This game is such a big imporvement over the first too, its unbelievable.
Lost planet 2 is better than the first, but aint no game of the year game either

Summary: In the summer, not that many great games come out. Usually publishers want to wait until the holiday season which is understandleble, but when this game came out, i thought maybe i was wrong. Unfortunitly this game is not a fun game at all. Maybe this is because i am a hardcore shooter fan, but i found this game very boring. Right in the beggining you are just in the middle of a blizzard just pressing random buttons to fight a big animal thing, which requires no skill.
Summary: I was pleasently surprised by this game, IGN nailed this game to the wall , and so did Game Fly.. I normally try to read the reviews on them all, and try not to judge so hard... But as always GI know best of all, there has only been a handful of time I've disagreed, cause this game is fun. Ya it's not much of a story but d#m those Raknid are fun to kill, there where some moments where i found my mouth droped open when they made their huge intros..
Summary: the graphics and lighting are intense the controls are smooth and the gamplay is good one of the best sounding games in my opinion but i bought the game thinking i was gonna be in a big mech shooting big aliens and instead you spend most of the time on foot shooting humans wondering how i went from a train in a desert to an underwater lab. pretty crappy story line.
