Summary: The is really great if you love fighting large battles and of course Lord of the rings. The game is a bit older so it does not have the best graphics, but for its time its just fine! the game can get a little boring after a while since you only do one thing really, fight a big battle and then move on, its nicer to play for the evil side as well though. The game is still worth the money and should have a little more renown.
Summary: Though a number of aspects of LOTR: Conquest are flawed and frankly the the campaign leaves a lot to be desired, the multi-player aspect of the game shines through. Many happy hours of my childhood where spent in frenetic LAN parties, we considered ourselves to be Conquest pros! Though technically flawed Conquest is a blast to play with friends.
Summary: You would have more fun playing any of the old SW: BF games. Whereas this game has sub par controls, flawed mechanics where you get stuck in areas, and pitiable versions of levels from the story that can be painfully beaten within hours.
Summary: I really enjoyed this game particularly because if the combat not so much the storyline. The game is more fun while playing with friends on split screen, but campaign is fun as well as just a little hard at times. When you play campaign, you can choose between 4 classes: warrior, mage, scout, and archer. Each class has their own advantages.
Summary: I got this game for my birth day when it came out and I LOVED it. I didn't really care for the campaign all that much, but that isn't what the game was made for, it was made for multiplayer, and it is AWESOME. Think of it like Star Wars: Battlefront but with Lord of the Rings.
Summary: An excellent option for those who are fans of the Rings trilogy, this game tests the abilities of various races of Middle Earth Elf, Dwarf, Wizard, Men and also the evil race, this game can explore every inch of the Middle Earth with lots of fun , who is not fan for sure after this experience had been.
Summary: I could never understand why video games based off of popular movies turn out to be so terrible. Everything about this game is disgusting. Graphics are mediocre, sound is far below adequate, game play is tedious, basic, simple and sloppy. There are no checkpoint to start off when you die and must start over from the very beginning of the level. Just everything is poorly executed. Even for the hardcore fans of this title should just look away.
Summary: This game seems to get a bit of a bad rep. However, I believe that this game can be a blast. It is very fun to be playing as your favorites from the Lord of the Rings while fighting in some of the battles from Lord of the Rings in War of the Ring, such as Helm's Deep, Minas Tirith, and Pelennor Fields. There is also the all new evil campaign, which feature Sauron's conquest to take over Middle-Earth. I believe it is a great custom campaign.
