Excerpt: Downloadable for £1.99 via PSN, we're not sure LocoRoco Cocoreccho is a game at all. Sony has called it an interactive screen saver, but we'd say it's more like Lemmings, except without the danger, so you can just put the controller down and trip out, if you were so inclined.
Excerpt: First Impressions My reaction is When the PSP hit the gaming scene one of the first games that came bundled with it was LocoRoco. Players had no idea what the game was about until they sat down with it for a few hours and surrendered to its addictive gameplay.
Conclusion: LocoRoco Cocoreccho is a very very fun game to play that happens to look beautiful on my Gaming HDTV in full 1080p resolution. It has some great functionality with the SIXAXIS controler the song the little LocoRoco sing is just too cute not to like.
Summary: While the game isn't as deep or involving as
some other titles, LocoRoco more than compensates through its sheer charm and
coolness. Its simple, accessible controls means gamers of every level and stripe
should be able to jump right in and enjoy the gameplay without too much effort.
Conclusion: LocoRoco Cocorrecho! is the perfect package, easy to pick up but hard to master. If you haven’t already downloaded this game then at two pounds you can’t really be excused for not trying it out. For what it is, for what it sets out to do, I’d say the game was almost perfect.
Excerpt: When LocoRoco Cocoreccho was first announced for the PlayStation Network as an ‘interactive screensaver’ (lol wut) we weren’t that surprised. How could something so irresistible and loveable like LocoRoco be anything but slightly bizarre?
