Summary: I didnt want this to be a bad experience for me. I wanted to say this is the greatest product ever. But upon arrival. I checked out the controls to make sure they made it safe. No..my navigation control has something broken, rattling loose inside. Its affecting my gameplay. The motion control won't calibrate right. The crosshairs are always pointing to the right and i have the Sharpshooter so its not a issue with how im aiming or anything on my part.
(7.3) Review - Littlebigplanet - Lots of good lots and bad.
11 June 2010
Summary: Littlebigplanet can be as bad as it is good. Some of the levels are so much fun to play, interesting game mechanics and physics, great music and some interesting level design modes if you have and extra 40 or 50 hours to make one. Some issues with the game are its to hard for kids. You die from poor jumping mechanics all the time there are no infinite portals so it makes you restart the whole level over and over and over..
Summary: I've played games since the Sega Master System days and have played games of many different genres. The one type of game that I don't like that much is FPS. Otherwise I'll play most things if they are good. I'm not the type of gamer that needs fast paced action either all the time but this game was a bit disappointing for me and my girlfriend (who has also played for a long time). We couldn't really put our finger on it but we had the feeling as if something was lacking.
Once you lose the cute factor, this game is really just OK

Summary: If you had asked me to rate this game when I first bought it, I would have given it 5-stars easily. There is so much I love about this game: it is extremely imaginative, great graphics, and sacboy is very very cute. You get to dress him up in crazy outfits, change his facial expressions, and even dance . . . pretty cool stuff. And, you can even create your own levels! After the first 5 minutes I thought this was one of the coolest games ever!
Summary: One reason we got a PS3 was for the nice selection of games for it that you could not get on other systems. Of course there were other reasons such as a Blu Ray player, free online play, and built in WiFi to name a few. One of those games of course was Little Big Planet. We watched videos on it, read reviews, and then made the decision to make it one of our first purchases for the PS3.
Summary: Yeah I know, I know... How could someone not like this game. Well I'll gladly tell ya. It was boring. The manager at my local GameStop raved about this game. "It's just awesome." So I canceled my Halo Wars reservation and bought it. I can sum it all up in one word - boring. But lemme hit the good stuff. This game is certainly imaginative. The bright colors, the goofy stick figures... This game is straight out of the "Puff the Magic Dragon" era. The graphics are AMAZING.
Summary: So this game has some beautiful graphics, cute little characters, a whimsical, fun, happy feel. BUT, it could very well lose that new game shine rather quickly, it did for me after about the first week. The gameplay is very simple, its a side scrolling platformer, you can jump, and grab. You have many options for costumes that you gain, and have the ability to really personalize your "sack boy/girl". You can place stickers on stuff too!
