Summary: I needed a PS3 game that would acclimate my grandson (6) to the game before he started to play it. We realized a year ago that he had no basic grounding in the game itself, and since there is so much to learn, he needed to understand the game itself. People told me PS3 had few games for young children, but this one was exactly what we needed. Variations, levels, humor. I recommend this.
Summary: A very good game for the first week or two that you have the game.... but after that you kind of get sick of it. then maybe 3 weeks later you start playing it again. It is a fun kid-game baseball game, but if your looking for a game that you want to play all the time, its not this. but dont get me wrong it is a good game, you just have to take breaks with it.
Summary: This is a good game. Graphics are pretty good characters are filled out. Gameplay is good but there are hardly ever any errors and at first it is hard to hit as it took a couple games to get my timing down.
Summary: You will think this is a fun game when you first start playing it. I've played a total of about 3 tournaments or so, and they all had something in common. I would pretty much breeze through the tournaments; only losing 2 or 3 games, only to fall victim to an impossible CPU opponent during semi-finals play. The game would suddenly get extremely hard and frustrating to the point where the CPU would cheat in order to win.
Summary: My 7 year old loves this game and I enjoy playing it with him. It's not nearly as complicated as other baseball video games (like MLB 2010), which makes it great for younger kids. But that also makes the game a bit predictable when you get good at it. Lots of customization options for players and teams. Overall, it's a great entry level baseball game.
