Summary: I was very disappointed in this game. First of all, my roommate and I (we are in our mid-20s) went through Little Big Planet together and absolutely loved it. The music was quirky and fun, the visuals were interesting and entertaining, the challenges and team work probably helped us to get to know each other more than anything else we've done.
Summary: Unfortunately I didn't pay attention to the fact that this was a book and not the actual game. There really are no specifics to tell me this but oh well...Now I have a book and I guess I'll study up while I wait for the actual game to get here.
Summary: I did not feel this was represented well when my grandson read it he thought he was getting some sort of DVD or CD to put into the computer not just a code you should make sure you spell out more clearly that there is no item to be received just a CODE.
Summary: --Gameplay (5 out of 5 stars)-- This game is definitely the successor to the original LittleBigPlanet. Although some complain about the storyline, it is insignificant compared to the breadth of levels and diversity in gameplay that you will encounter. You'll play with a grappling hook, Creatinator and many other gaming elements that will constantly challenge your platforming formula. These elements are enjoyable with one player or four players.
Summary: Ordered Little Big Planet 2 PS3 game but actually received Essential Little Big Planet 2 PS3 game which is different than pictured and described and can be bought cheaper. Returned to Amazon for a refund.
Summary: I really loved LBP1- the courses, the music, the outfits. But all the charm seems to have left it for LBP2. The courses are unbelievably short and all seem kind of the same- factory/spacey- with some stand out ones: in a forest and a cake style one. The cutscenes are trying to be funny but are cringe-worthy. And the new things such as the bunny you hop around on and the other animals are introduced in an 'introduction level' but that was about all the time you used them.
Summary: It has brilliant things you can do such as making nearly anything you want HOWEVER! It has no graphical improvements compared to LBP2, the music is brainwashing, the sack things play on your mind and in my opinion it is way too expensive for what it is. Not worth the money and In my opinion much better games are due to be released this year.
