Summary: I love Lego games because they're linear and simple. Most of the games I've played have been able to reign in the player, and given that these games are often geared toward younger players, I've come to expect smaller, more focused worlds. The first few Lego games based on Star Wars were great because they brought you through the story while allowing you to explore areas without feeling like you'd get lost if you ventured about.
Summary: I've played other lego games, this one wasn't my favourite. The character changing wheel really annoyed me. But other than that it's a very long game. If you like getting trophies this is a good game for you.
Summary: A thoroughly enjoyable Lego game featuring the full trilogy of the Lord of the Rings. Complete with the original voice cast for characters. One downside I found was that the game glitches frequently after completing the main quest. This has severely ruined the gameplay for me. But if not for this then I would have given this game five stars.
Summary: I've been wanting a Lego Lord of the Rings since the very first Lego Star Wars came out all those years ago. But after countless Lego Game entries I finally get my wish and its not very impressive. The game itself is good and fun to play but it is also quiet boring at times, not really offering the much high intense action from the previous Lego games and too much walking.
Summary: Load, cut scene, run for 10 seconds, load, load, load - get bored then load a bit more. then play. This game is true to the lego format, there is loads to do but I just got so bored waiting for the game to load so that I could play it. So the game went back on the shelf.
