Summary: Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of lord of the rings and on top of that the lego games series. This is the first one I've played on PC, and really it's not a good experience. The game is fine, probably really good, but I find this so hard to play, the controls for this are just ridiculous, H to...
Summary: After the failures that were LEGO: Batman 2 and LEGO: Harry Potter, you'd think TT Fusion would get serious on their next title. Unfortunately, LEGO: Lord of the Rings just ends up being another hole in your wallet. The gameplay is boring and ported from the 3DS.
A good game that I hated. Oh the massive load times

Summary: I bought this game expecting what I got out of Lego Starwars. That is a cute, quick, entertaining game that I don't have to use meny brain cells to play. I was wrong. The developers spent a lot of time making this game and it showes.
Summary: Alot of people seem to forget that we're reviewing a game and not the movies, resulting in some dumbfounded euphoria and fanboyism for the series. Now let's talk (seriously) about the game: first thing I noticed and bothered me was the actual use of voices (haven't played a LEGO game since Batman,...
Summary: Being an avid fan of all the past Lego games, I was surprised when I picked this one up and found that the standard Lego game recipe got old really quickly. I've heard other people make this remark about previous games, but I could run through Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman, and Pirates over...
Summary: The game has a few annoying features. One is that the camera isn't great, especially if you play 2 players. I found the flexible camera view dreadful, but this can fortunately be changed in the options to fixed split screen, which is much better.
Summary: The PS3 version is riddled with glitches and requires constant backtracking. This makes story mode an annoying slog, as your progress is constantly lost. The graphics are pretty, but the levels are on the small side, and skip a lot of the cool stuff from the movies.
Summary: Mixing the tried and tested formula of the Lego games with the iconic Lord of the Rings series should have been a winner, yet somehow this falls flat. The lego schtick is starting to wear thin - the introduction of the real actors' voices not enough to lift it, while the devs' decision to drop the...
Summary: We've enjoyed all the Lego games but this one, coming after the amazing Lego Batman 2, is a real downer. Everything takes sooo long and actually understanding your objectives and how to complete them isn't made clear. We haven't completed it and probably never will be.
