Summary: It is a fun game but it freezes a lot and it doesn't always work right. Like when you use the map and set your destination, it will sometimes take you to a complete different place and sometimes doesn't take you anywhere.
Summary: I love the lego games, with all of the hunting and searching, BUT . . . the Hobbit game is following some of the other lego games which means it's full of glitches. Either the game or the character freezes. Yes, you can restart the game to fix it - but after doing this numerous times it can get frustrating and a bit boring. You also can't change into any of the other characters while running around in the worlds UNTIL you finish the whole game first.
Summary: Definitely rushed into production/release--given that the 3rd movie isn't out. Why was this even released yet? Were they hoping to make up for the horrible job they did with Lego-Marvel? Several levels suffer from either bad lighting or just too much clutter on the screen. Some levels aren't even levels--they're half-levels or cut scenes bloated into full levels (Unexpected party comes to mind).
Summary: Let me start by saying I'm a game playing junkie!! Have been gaming since video games began. Can you say Pong. Legos have become a favorite simply because they are fun, inventive and I enjoy the movies some are the theme. Also can play with kids. This one hangs up and shut downs way too many times. The constant freezing in certain areas is frustrating.
Summary: PS3 Version: I got this game since I really enjoyed playing The Lord of the Rings version. But I've gotta say, I'm really disappointed. CONTENT: This game doesn't contain the entire story from the movie trilogy. It literally cuts off and plays the credits at the same point where the 2nd movie, The Desolation of Smaug, ends. Should this have been common sense considering the 3rd movie has not come out yet? Maybe.

Summary: A good game. Middle earth (free-roam) is extremely detailed and fun to explore and collect everything. I personally felt that the levels were boring and dragged out, although I suppose that they needed to make the game seem longer than what it was considering its only 2 out of 3 parts.
Summary: The game looks great, what you would expect from a Lego game and includes replays from the film with what sounds like the actual dialogue and music which is great. However my son got this on Tuesday and told me yesterday he'd completed it! Whilst he's not collected all the collectables, its taken him two days and he's been at school so has done this playing a few hours for 3 days.
