Summary: I bought this game at the end of May of 2011. It's super fun and I didn't really run into too many glitches while playing but when it froze, which was quite often, it would erase my saved data. I was a good way through the game TWICE with every character unlocked and it froze up and erased my data. Sometimes it would erase my data totally but still have the numerous hours I played still there. That's always fun to look at.
Summary: Not sure why everyone is bashing on the negative reviews that talk about the game freezing and glitching. Everyone is entitled to sharing their experience, right? I, like some of the other 1 and 2-star reviews, found this game to be extremely buggy. I am a big fan of the LEGO game series but I also know that Traveller's Tales has a history of releasing buggy games. I own LEGO Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter.
Great family fun before game froze at final boss battle

Summary: I have several LEGO video games, and while they're repetitive buy and large, each still comes with it's own taste, special weapons and puzzles. Pirates of the Caribbean had probably mean the most fun I had alongside Star Wars. It's better however in how it sticks to the true story of the four films, spicing it up with humor. Using the original music keeps the theme of the movie, and you feel yourself taking the steps of Jack Sparrow along the way.
Summary: I have played most of the Lego games with my wife on our PS3. This one definitely feels rushed and not finished. 1. Pathing is terrible in places (I know most Lego games have some pathing issues and that is fine. This one ranks last) 2. You know how in most Lego games there are some hidden mini games like raise all 10 flags and you get more coins or a 'canister/bottle'? As you get them it shows up on the screen 1 of 10 2 of 10. This game does not have any of those.
Summary: Just simply take a look at not only Amazon's reviews, but others as well and you will soon find that many folks are complaining of "freezing" problems. Not saying it is a Lego problem, but I can say my Lego Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Batman games do not freeze, nor do any of my other games (just this one). Not to mention it is frustrating when all your hard work is now meaningless (as your whole console becomes frozen, you are forced to reboot it).
