Summary: This game can be a lot of fun, and has loads of characters to earn, unlock, and play as. I play with my five year old and three year old son. The only problem with this game (for PS3) is that it is quite ga-ga-ga-glitchy. I have never played a game that glitches as often as this game, and I have been playing video games since nintendo was cool. If we play this game for an hour I expect that I will have to restart my playstation at least twice.
Summary: My boys (10 and 9 years old) started asking for this game during November, but it was sold out of most stores. I purchased through Walmart's website, and even paid extra for two-day shipping to "guarantee" its arrival before Christmas Eve, but it did not arrive until the Friday after Christmas, after we had already left my parents' house, which is 5 hours away from ours. What a disappointment!
Summary: I have each and every Lego game mostly for the PS3 but some on xbox 360. My wife and I love the co-op game play and the comedy bits they throw in. The rest of this game, along with all the others are filled with glitches and problems, 30mins into the game there is a part where you must deflect beams with captain americas shield, we're following the on-screen instructions of which buttons to press, searching the internet for answers on what we're doing wrong, after about...
Summary: I'm a HUGE marvel fan and I really wanted to love this game, it started out so well and suddenly as I was playing the game froze, had to restart my whole system because of this. Then while in the middle of a boss fight, the game wouldn't allow the fight to progress. I was fighting for ten minutes and was wondering why it wouldn't progress, so I paused it and looked on YouTube to see how the fight was supposed to go and realized that the game glitched out and wouldn't...
There is a great game buried under serious usability problems

Summary: Lego Marvel Superheroes represents a great step backward from Lego Batman 2. The flight mechanics are hilariously counter-intuitive. My 6-year-old could fly all over Gotham City, but with this game the number of frustrated "Daddy, can you just do it"s is staggering. Whoever decided it was a good idea to return to the days when you couldn't skip cut-scenes, ESPECIALLY when replaying levels in free play, should be sentenced to 5-years of playing nothing but Duke Nukem...
Summary: The game is great fun when it works but unfortunately it suffers from far too many bugs. Our version freezes on a couple of levels consistently and you cant complete it. Looking at the forums there are a lot of people with the same issue. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone as a purchase.
Great fan service but compromised by glitches, etc.

Summary: I bought this for my son and I to play together. The positives are some terrific fan service to the Marvel universe, which is handled in a witty and endearing way with Lego characters that look almost real. The negatives include frequent bugs and glitches, in particular the tendency for characters to get stuck on scenery or get stuck in a repeating animation, which always forces a level restart.
Summary: I have been an avid fan of the whole LEGO game franchise for a while, but this is just a travesty, lacking or messing up just about everything that made the LEGO games fun: the humour, the puzzles, and the platforming. As another reviewer said, this is a glitch festival. Pretty much every game session ended early because of a console-freezing glitch. Sometimes it froze in the hub before I even got to start a level!
Summary: Fun game with storyline and characters. Kid friendly. The amount of glitches in this game killed the fun out of it. Frequently had to replay levels due to characters getting stuck and the screen freezing. Very disappointed they still make these mistakes in all of their games.
