Summary: This game was fantastically unplayable at release. The story is atrocious, especially compared to "Heavenly Sword" which came out around the same time, centering around two warring dragon clans, one "barbarian" and the other civilized. The visuals are quite interesting but you wont spend much time admiring them as you fall in and out of cutscenes WHILE IN BATTLE, most of your time will be spent pissed off and hating the motion sensor control system.
Conclusion: Played for about 5 mins before turning off. Very poor game no thought gone into making it. Thought son would have fun playing due to six axis controlls but he was as unimpressed as i was. DO NOT RENT AND DO NOT BUY.
Summary: I was looking forward to this game for months and finally bought it and I put off doing a review because I wanted to give it a fair chance but enough is enough. I can't stand this game! What is up with the Sixaxis? There is no way to turn it off and just use the analogs. The missions are like taking orders from someone with multiple personality disorder. Every time you get to doing what they ask you, they yell out to do something else.
Conclusion: Having launched the game played for under 5mins - this adventure failed to capture my imagination - neither did the graphics nor the poor story line and the fuzzy arrow in the top right corner that indicates - (badly) where the objectives are located. Sixaxis motion control very off putting tho motion control in a game can be useful - here not one bit. Get another game and avoid this one.
Summary: The outlook of this game is what made me purchase it. I have a 16 inch TV so I can't complain about the graphics because I couldn't even really experience it, but I had way too many problems with this game. The number one thing that annoyed about the game, was the fact that you have no freedom. About every thirty to forty seconds, some monster/boat/army is attacking your helpless people. The game gives you way too much to handle every single mission.
Summary: Lair is an embarrassing game that's all the more a failure because it was widely touted as a possible "killer app" before its release, with a demo displaying its apparently superb visuals and gameplay. I've played a lot of poor games in my time, but the PS3 has had a pretty low quotient of bad ones, yet this is without a doubt the worst of the bunch yet.
Summary: Well i rent that game last week to see how it was,and believe me, it is the most disastrous game of 2007.The idea and the storyline are not bad,the graphics are using the Next-Gen engine, even if there are PS3 games with better graphics; and the music is wonderful,(you know what?when i finished writing the comment i'll search on the site to see if i can buy the soundtrack). But the point that ruins the game is the gameplay.First, you use the Sixaxis controller to move the...
