Summary: So far I like the game...but it's not really grabbing me. The interrogations are a little frustrating, you always feel like you're missing something but you can't tell after it's over and it tells you did something wrong.
Summary: I am enjoying L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition but I find my enjoyment hindered by the 'truth/doubt/lie detection' system (tdlds). I feel the tdlds in this game is a commendable first attempt at doing something like this in a video game but I feel there should have been better explanation of how to...
Summary: LA Noire was such a great idea. The story itself, I found very powerful and I loved how the flashbacks of Cole's past tie back to the present game. However what was supposed to make this game so great, the interrogation system, is SO difficult to master.
Summary: I had very high expectations for this game, and unfortunately it fails to live up to them. I don't find it a total bore like some other reviewers, but I don't like it as much as Red Dead Redemption or GTA 4. It's moderately entertaining, but not worth the high price tag of buying new.
Summary: I'm not sure if this is because of the technology or the game, but I wasn't a huge fan of this Rockstar outing. The big draw on this one was the facial expression technology, which I thought was lacking. Maybe it was advanced for the time, but to me it didn't feel realistic at all.
Proof that the gaming industry is engaging in grade inflation

Summary: Ok. First of all, a funny story that will let others laugh at my misery. I was really excited about this game from Rockstar coming off their entertaining Red Dead Redemption experience. Although I knew this would not be GTA cop version, I still felt it would be a worthy experience.
Summary: *spoiler free* LA Noire is a nice change of pace compared to what usually rockstar puts out but the story was of typical rockstar fashion. Before I bought the game, I figured it was about one major crime and trying to solve that one major crime, but instead I was surprised how LONG this game was.
Summary: The game is really bizarre as there is almost no game at all. If you don't like driving you can skip those sequences. Fail at an action sequence three times and you can skip it without consequence. And all those interrogation scenes with the truth, lie, doubt options? No stakes at all.
