Summary: I'm not sure if this is because of the technology or the game, but I wasn't a huge fan of this Rockstar outing. The big draw on this one was the facial expression technology, which I thought was lacking. Maybe it was advanced for the time, but to me it didn't feel realistic at all. I've taken facial expression tests numerous times and scored near perfect each time, but for some reason the characters were hard to read.
Summary: I am enjoying L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition but I find my enjoyment hindered by the 'truth/doubt/lie detection' system (tdlds). I feel the tdlds in this game is a commendable first attempt at doing something like this in a video game but I feel there should have been better explanation of how to tell when someone is lying versus when you doubt them. As it is now, I feel cheated whenever I get a question wrong.
