Daughter loves the story line and plays it for hours
2 days ago
Summary: My daughter's game was stolen, during a party and she was so upset. She loves this game. Not only does it have a good story line, but she is actually learning a bit about the old hollywood days.
Summary: I was misled. I'm about half-way through this game and no one told me beforehand about all the violence against women and sprinkles of anti-black racism! Why do the 1950's have to be recreated with this and Mad Men and other garbage? The gameplay itself is fun but this isn't "just a game" and people who stand behind trite sayings like this probably don't bother thinking critically about much of anything.
Revolutionary game with its facial performance capture tech
5 July 2014
Summary: This game is beautiful. The game's visuals are immersive and you feel like you are in the game's era even though you weren't born in that era. The facial animations are revolutionary. I looked at the LA Noire actors on YouTube and I remembered their characters from the game. I think this is the first game where this has happened for me.
Summary: First of all L.A. Noire is not a bad game but when their are so many other amazing games out there why buy just an ok game. I will list the positve and negatives of the game in my humble opinion to help you make your own decision. Positive: 1.) The facial recognition technology is amazing. The game relies on you to pick up on facial clues to figure out if you suspect is telling the truth. 2.) The game looks beautiful 3.
