Summary: I've never been a huge fan of RPG's. I'm typically too impatient to really get into them. But, this game has been a blast from the start. Great combat and customization. And, what I found very refreshing is how easy it is to navigate menus/inventories. They've made it quite accessible to the casual gamer, which is certainly how I categorize myself.
Summary: Sadly the studio behind this game was closed. But the amazing work they did shines in thisepic tale. Full voice acted with enough questing and side missions to last hundreds of hours. Fast paced combat combined with an endless possibility for customization gives Kingdoms of Amalur something that is usually missing. When it comes right down to it, gameplay is king, and Amalur is just so much fun to play its hard to believe every RPG hasn't stolen from it.
Summary: Incredible game, really underrated. Over a hundred hours of game play, and tremendous, huge open world. If you like this type of game, you will be hard pressed to find much not to like. It is very complex as far as personalization options go, but still simple to utilize the selection trees. For the price it is at now, it is a must have.
Summary: This game can be summed up in one word: fun. It's a traditional RPG that feels like a few other games were stewed together to make one sweet game. The combat is fast & frenetic, the loot is aesthetically amazing, the world is huge and there's so much to do. The game isn't hard like Dragon's Dogma, Dark Souls or The Witcher, but it is incredibly satisfying & just plain fun. Highly recommend to any fan of the genre.
Summary: Fantastic game! I played it until my eyes bled and then I played it some more. I got so bored with WoW and having to talk to other human beings, and the fact that the game never seemed to have an end or a point. KoA is perfect for me. I plan on leaving my wife soon so that I have more time to play it. I may also abandon my friends and family and quit my job. I can steal electricity from my neighbors.
Summary: I did research this game a bunch before it came out. I read all the reviews I could find, and it looked like a lot of the reviewers had some problems iwth the characters being flat or boring in this game. I will say this is not so much the case for me. This game has a few things that make it stand out for me. The skills system is varied and fun to play around with.
Summary: I bought this game from Amazon on a whim after spotting it in a store and reading the description on the back, then going back and forth on it for a month. I finally decided to go for it and I am sooooo glad I did. This is probably one of the best games I have played in my entire life - it's up there with God of War and Dragon Age for sure.
Summary: I bought this game to expand my gaming library, also the reviews individuals gave this title were around 9/10 or 4/5 even 5/5 so I decided to check it out. Important facts on the game: - Limited character customization - Not that many armor or weapon variation (stats for each piece of equipment vary) - Many hours can be invested in a playthrough such as quests and tasks - Many storyline is moderately interesting, factions are an added bonus - Too many linear quests where...
