Summary: The dlc code is expired, that's the reason i bought it new. You are better off buying a USED**** copy. I talked to a playstation rep and they said, there's nothing they can do if the code is expired, somehow i doubt that. Bought the game after the expiration date, what bs... Anyways, so far Killzone 3 out of the trilogy isn't really matching up with my expectations, sub par graphics and weird aiming system provide a lackluster feel.
Summary: First the bad news: the DLC is expired. The voucher that came with my game expired October 10th, 2013. I don't understand why these vouchers even need to have expiration dates, or really, why a collection released in 2012 has an expiration date only one year later. As a comparison, I also recently bought the Uncharted bundle and that DLC voucher expires in 2016. So, I would give 0 stars for the box saying "DLC included!" and it actually being expired.
Summary: Now, Killzone is a good game. It has great gunplay and even a spectacular and fluid cover system. The visuals are also extremely good. But it suffers with a forgettable story, unexciting characters. The settings are all orange however, I will give it credit for setting a decent enough plot with some original ideas.
Summary: I'm writing this review mostly about the original Killzone in the Killzone trilogy set since Killzone 2 and 3 are pretty much the same as previous PS3 releases. The original game I would have given a 4 or 5 star to, it had some bugs but I found the game quite fun, it was one of my favorite games of all in the PS2 era and I had been eagerly waiting for this HD remake of it.
