Summary: It's an okay game, you just get bored with it really quick. There is not much of a song choice because they want you to buy the good ones. Overall it's okay if you don't get bored with it too fast. The adjustments on the microphone don't work and you get an echo, so it's not like you are singing everything on cue and you get negative feedback from the judges cause of it. Mic also statics, you can tell it's cheap.
Summary: This game got mediocre reviews and I understand why. With that being said, if you have a PS3/Wii/XBox 360, and lots of friends who like to sing, and have said friends at your house for a party, this will entertain all night long. Overall not as bad as some reviews I've seen, but the gameplay is kind of repetitive in single player.
Summary: Pros--the game is fun. Cons-- The amount of static in almost every song. The cost of downloads-- $1.50 for a song is waaaay too much, we should be able to pick out 10 songs for $5. Anything more than that and they can keep their downloads. I think we should ban together and refuse to buy downloads until they reduce the cost of them.
Summary: This game was purchased for my mother, which says it doesn't have a broad selection of her type of music. American Idol usually has lots of oldies, and older rock on the show whereas the game does not. Additional songs are slightly expensive if you ask me @ $1.50/song on average. It would be nice if you could download huge packs of songs at a decent price instead of having to shop for them individually.
Summary: There is no difference from the one for the ps2, just the song selection. I expected it to be real different since its for the ps3. Expected too much....didnt live up to it. Sitting on my shelf catching dust while I play Singstar......much better karaoke game for the ps3.
Summary: I have several of the Karaoke Revolution games and this one disappoints. You can not really use the game for Karaoke as when you get 3/4 of the way through the song static starts crackling through the speakers. This is a flaw in the game that Konami is aware of but there is no word from them as to when a fix will be out. The only solution to this problem is to turn the mic volume down to zero. Two mics for duet mode are also very hard to get working.
Summary: First off the vocals for the songs are not from the real artists. Some songs come close but gives the game a bad feel. Sometimes you hear static when you sing. Maybe its a bad mic and im just unlucky but its not worth the 69 bucks to me. Character customization is limited. Your stuck with pre made models and all you can do is edit their clothing. Other than that, if you like singing the game is fun we have a good time playing it.
