Summary: I'm not sure if it is the mic or the game, but the our vocals are delayed on the game. It never matches up or sounds right and throws the score off. I have friends with this game, which is why I bought it and never had this problem...
Summary: There is a current bevy of games with Singing or Karaoke in them. Why settle for some mediocre title as this. My fiance and I bought this to expand our Karaoke lineup, along with Rockband and some other games. We hardly touched this game. It is marred by terrible interface, small song lineup, and bad voice recognition. This makes it a lackluster title not worth the money.
Summary: It's an American Idol game thats been abandoned by Konami. You can't download new music for it and you can't update the annoying repetetive comments. Its entertaining as much as Kareoke is but make sure you like more than half of the songs in the game or you'll throw this one to the side faster than you can say encore.
Summary: You can tell they didn't put a lot of effort into this one. Old generation graphics, and VERY limited song selection. I guess you purchase the game, so you can then go purchase more songs online. To me... this is a straight rip off. This isn't like other games where you buy additional levels. This is a basic initial song selection that is the heart of this game.
Summary: We got this game due to loving the Rock Band, Guitar Hero and Singstar games and was hoping this was of similar quality. Unfortunately this is not the case. The game hits some of the bases (being able to sing to a song) but that's where it ends. This game certainly lacks the entertainment and longevity in my opinion of the other franchises. Add to this a lackluster UI and an extremely poor selection of online DLC and this is ultimately what killed the game for us.
Summary: While the game is still fun to play, this is by far the weakest entry in the Karaoke Revolution franchise. As my wife points out, these games are all about the singing, and KRAI: Encore delivers on this point. The tracklist has 40 titles, with a pretty good mix of genres spanning over several decades. The songs are, with a few exceptions, spot-on covers of the originals. And the background graphics are quite good, very realistic, almost like you're there.
Summary: Got this for my wife as a gift. Song selections are weak with mostly older songs and not too recent. Graphics are very crummy for a ps3 version. Not sure why they did not just use actual clips of Simon, Paula and Randy instead of the crummy 3d versions of them. Since the song selections are not that great, my wife did not find many to pick from (that she liked). The songs are not sang by the actual artists and instead are sung by unknown singers.
