Summary: I was really excited for this game. This game reminded me of the big heist scene in "Heat." The game features two great characters and a good storyline. However, two parts where the game falls flat are the graphics and the gameplay. The graphics are nothing like the graphics seen on the online media sites.
Summary: In all fairness, I really wanted to like this game. I gave it a fair shot and rented it out. After completing it, I've decided that Kane & Lynch had a lot of potential that got turned into a 16-level rehash of Michael Mann's bank robbery scene from the movie Heat . The game description tells us: "This is a violent and chaotic journey of two men - a flawed mercenary and a medicated psychopath. Each hates the other but must work together to save themselves.
OVERRATED...had potential but, didn't live up to the hype.

Summary: I'm a big fan of this genre of games, but this game COULD be so much better. The gameplay is TOO SLOW...comparing it other games like this. I bought it right whne it was released because, I saw a quick view of it on a website...I wish I waited. It's playable...I completed the game fairly fast, but I haven't even played it since. Not a game you would enjy playing multiple times.
Summary: Overall, I am pretty disappointed with Kane & Lynch. Usually Eidos makes really great games, like Hitman, so I had high expectations for this title. The graphics for this game are so-so and kinda of glitchy -- for example, your characters sometimes walk through walls or other people. The game controls are difficult and make it very hard to complete missions. Kane ends up being more of a dead-weight instead of a helpful teammate.
Summary: This game is pretty bad. Story is cliché. Game play is one notch above unplayable. AI is atrocious. Some scenes are unnecessarily difficult. I was really looking forward to this game for some reason and while it's more or less what I expected premise-wise, they simply did nothing right. Also - profanity doesn't offend me whatsoever, so if you're going to write dialogue that uses F-bombs as punctuation - please make it believable.
Summary: I probably should've stopped playing Call of Duty 4 when I played this game because I think it influenced my opinion (COD4 is amazing in every way). I was also pretty excited about this game since I started reading about it a few months ago, so I may have had elevated expectations for it. I would love to experience the story, but poor controls and really terrible friendly AI prevent that. I wouldn't recommend it for gamers experienced in other FPS titles.
Dont waste your money and buy Call of Duty 4 instead.

Excerpt: This game looked so promising but let down in its expectations. I was devestated with this purchase, so much I took it back 6 days after having the product. The game is centered around Kane and Lynch, two men who have broken out of jail and are now fighting their way through a variety of different scenarios. The buttons for this game are poor and hard to grasp, graphics are ok but are not upto scratch with some games of the playstaion 3.
had potential as a great crime sim but lost it with it's shortcomings.

Excerpt: Kane & Lynch, what can i say about this title? well, you either love it or you hate it. It's that simple. You play the part of Kane a man standing of the destruction of his own life trying as hard as he might to salvage what he can. By his side, or on his case rather is Lynch, a psychotic madman who is a much of a hinder as he is a help.
