Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (PS3)

The Review Busters
17 February 2008
  • Conclusion: Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is only enjoyable for the story. The game feels like an out dated release that came out many moons ago. Levels seem unrealistic and the AI is just special. Playing with another friend won’t really help the games experience too much, if you really want to enjoy Kane & Lynch then play it online.

Kane & Lynch Dead Men

ME Gamers
2 December 2007
  • Excerpt: First Impressions My reaction is What is it about gang-inspired shoot ‘em up games that makes me think of The Godfather? Nearly every second game I’ve played in this genre has been a carbon-copy of the last – the wheezing boss, the sneaky looking flunky, and the countless number of gun-brandishing battles make for one predictable game.

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men Review

GamerNode
16 November 2007
  • Excerpt: Unless you’re a certain type of gamer (or regularly read Game Informer), you may not have heard of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men outside of the fact that it’s being released during the two strongest weeks of games in years. Soon, though, you probably won’t be able to get away from it. Playboy features, a massive advertising campaign, viral marketing up the wazoo, and other forms of marketing will soon be underway for IO’s latest criminal opus, and Eidos is obviously looking at...

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men

CVG
7 December 2007
  • Summary: On paper, this game should be incredible. It's got two uniquely grizzled anti-heroes, an impeccable developer (it's by IO, of Hitman fame) and loads of Michael Mann-inspired set-pieces (more later). The main men are Kane, a death-row inmate who's previously allegedly double-crossed his shady employers, The7, and Lynch, a paranoid schizophrenic who needs to constantly pop medication to keep his anger in check.
