Summary: I was a fan of the original Juiced for the PS2 so was keen to try the sequel. I won't be buying any more because the developer got closed down. Bit of a pity really. Juiced to is more of an updated/restructured version of the original with better graphics to appeal to the then, new gen. Basically this is an arcade Too Fast Too Furious import tuned modding racer sort of thing. There is not much in it though. You start with a couple of test runs then get to buy a car.
Could have been brilliant! Shame about the poor handling!

Summary: This game is actually pretty good. I never thought it could match the Need For Speed franchise, but it very nearly nails it with this title. The presentation is similar and theres a lot of features to this game, such as driver customisation, upgradable DNA profiles etc. However despite this, there are a few let downs. I really wish the handling of the cars was more realistic so you can actually drive the car!
Excerpt: "...you get on the first Juiced that I own on the Xbox, which I think is pretty poor. The gameplay overall is OK, but I find that when you're driving it seems as if everything is moving past you so slowly compared to previous games where you seem to zoom past the scenery. The Nos doesn't seem to even move you which is pretty pointless having it and overall I find that it is a bit too slow and too 'real' to enjoy it as much as previous games. But, due ...
Summary: played the demo off the us psn store and boy thq have made a mess of what could have been a great rival to NFS pro street due to the fact this has a arcade feel to it and the graphics are awful mind it is fun to race and lose control of the car while smashing you 40 grand BMW but save a tenner and get the ps2 version i am pretty sure you can have the same amount of fun off the ps2 version, also want a simulator of street racing get pro street want a arcade feel to street...
Conclusion: Suffers from the official license. The whole street racing culture just doesn't fit into official closed races, the feel is simply gone. There is no traffic, no cops, no free feeling of open road. There are also way, way too few tracks to choose from. The tuning, though quite fun, suffers from the same lack of variety.
Conclusion: I was looking forward to this game and was highly disappointed when I played it. The things that let it down are that the controls are quite difficult to use and takes ages to perfect drifting etc. Also its not very realistic everything looks too animated and not realistic enough. However, the races are good and the variety of cars is good as well. Overall I would give this about 5/10 and that is pushing it a bit.
