Summary: I never know much about Rugby always NFL or College football, I played EA sports rugby back in the day! But this Jonah Lomu is very good and fun, I told alot of people about it! Great game!!!!!!
Finally a rugby video game that doesn't feel like a throwback to FIFA '93 on the SNES

Summary: It's fairly difficult to find resources for rugby in the US it seems and being a rookie I was looking for ways to familiarize myself with the flow of the game, general rules and jargon in more engaging methods than books or videos when I wasn't at practice. I found this game after playing a couple other rugby video games on various platforms, but none were as well designed or had controls that were as intuitive as Rugby Challenge.
Summary: This game is fun, but it needs some work on areas to make it great. Here in the US there isn't much in the way of rugby, especially in Texas where football is religion. The graphics are awesome! The mechanics are ok. But... The mechanics still need work. Passing isn't that well done. I've had people open and the ball goes right through them, and that's me playing with the All Blacks. However, the team you're playing against is able to pull off some wicked offloads.
Summary: Rugby Challenge is the best rugby game on the PS3 (and presumably X360). The gameplay is much better than the rival title RWC, and the controls are very natural for players of both Madden or previous PS2 rugby titles. * The passing, both short and long is natural, the rucks, scrums and lineouts are easy to control. * There is some depth of gameplay modes (although online not tried yet).
Summary: this is by far the best rugby game i have found. i wanted to learn the game and play on my local D4 team, and i knew that a video game would help me see and grasp some aspects of the game that words have a hard time painting. anyways, this game is a ton of fun, but, like most sports games, after a while it loses its excitement. i mean you can only do the same tournaments and "career" mode so many times.
Summary: This game is pretty fun for every level of rugby fan. The controls take some getting uses to but that is probably the hardest part about any sports game. This is the first rugby game for the newer generation consoles and the graphics are right in par with madden or NCAA football. The only problem I have is that it seems like every other time I pass the ball the player always drops the ball or has a kick-on (even new zealand).
Best rugby game for PS3... that does not say alot though

Summary: I own a rugby game for the original Xbox from 2006 (I think) and have for years wanted an updated game for the next gen gaming console. I downloaded the demo for Rugby World Cup (or whatever it is called... I should have done some research) and that game is horrible. There are a ton of lincensed teams which is nice. The create a player sucks though, but that is made up by the high tackles you are able to perform.
