John Daly's ProStroke Golf

Strategy Informer
6 October 2011
  • Conclusion: John Daly's Prostroke Golf is a great display of how the Move controller can be implemented, and has officially made us excited about what the future of Move holds. At the same time, it also barrages us with how not to make a game. It's all very well and good providing a decent golfing experience, but wrapping it in a flimsy menu system and restricting our play options so badly is quite the turn-off.

John Daly's ProStroke Golf

Gaming Evolution

  • Conclusion: John Daly's ProStroke Golf is a good representation of what the PlayStation Move can do. The accuracy and sensitivity of the Move fits very well with a golf game and in this game, it is a more enjoying experience then the top dog of the golf game world, which is Tiger Woods. However if you do not have the PlayStation Move then the experience is not the same.

  • Conclusion: Not so much a game as much as it is a golfing simulator, JDPSG offers the best Move controls to date and a decent selection of courses, but does nothing for amateurs out there who are looking for a fun party experience.

John Daly’s ProStroke Golf (PS3) Review

411mania.com
9 November 2010
  • Summary: ProStroke golf is not a bad golf game at all. If you just purchased PlayStation Move and want to get a golf game to mess around with, your options are pretty limited at the moment and you won’t go wrong with ProStroke golf. There’s not a whole lot of game here, and it’s not very appealing, but the mechanics work.

  • Conclusion: Gusto Games got some things right here, but there is still a whole lot of room to improve. Worth a look if you're an avid golfer (and PlayStation Move owner), but I recommend a rental first.
