Summary: Well, Avatar was a good movie, but the game was pushed out way too early. The game had great potential, but you always know what's gonna happen with Ubisoft. I expected this game to be a freeroam RPG game with many quests, gear and enemies, but no, I was disappointed.
Summary: Purchased from Amazon. I own a Mitsubishi 60" DLP and just bought the 3DC-1000 starter kit. I too have played all the 3D content available on PSN. So I bought this game as there is limited 3D content out there right now. Game looks great.
Summary: QUICK IMPRESSIONS After watching the movie twice (once 'regular' 3D, than on IMAX, getting a copy of 'Avatar - the game experience' came naturally, regardless of the so-so reviews I found at Amazon.
Summary: Pretty good game. The Na'vi story is lacking unless you either play the human side first or see the movie. The level-up aspect is pretty nice, but several high-tier items are not that great, especially in the armor category. The conquest idea is great and enjoyable and the graphics are amazing.
Summary: Graphics and story are awesome. Trying to control your character while scary monsters attack from all directions was not so easy. There are many options, tricks, etc. that once learned make the game work better. Learning curve is more than I would expect from this game.
Summary: My HDTV is not 3-D ready, so I can't speak to that feature of this game, and must limit my remarks to how the game itself plays. Frankly, it was disappointing. Hearing that Cameron was attached during development of it, I assumed this would be more than a typical movie-tie it.
Summary: or 8.5/9. this game is very under rated and is probibly the best movie game i have ever played! the first 40 mins is slow and boring after this you are given a choice. navi or human rda. either campaign i fun, challenging and rewarding.
