Bond at his best! ...for 3 hours.
12 February 2011
Summary: This is the best Bond game I have played so far. The missions, guns, graphics were all amazing. A big reason I got this game in the first place was that it was based on the Call of Duty 4 game engine, as I am a big CoD fan. It was a great ride! But, the thing disappointed me was how long it took me to beat the game. I really liked that they kept close to the story lines of the movies, but I'm sure it would take me more time to watch both the movies than to beat the game.
Summary: I'm not going to jump up and down with excitement over this game, but it's definitely fun to play. If you're like me and you've enjoyed playing games based on James Bond in the past, you will probably like this one as well. If you can take a game for what it is and what you paid for it, this one is worth picking up at a reasonable price. I feel like I've gotten my $15 worth of entertainment for sure!
Summary: Quantum of Solace is a great first person shooter with stunning graphics and challenging levels...Its main drawback, however, is that it is relatively quick to beat. Most people want to spend at least more than a week playing a game, sadly that is not the case. And just for those with 0% ps3 knowledge, this is not a split screen/co-op/team deathmatch game...sadly all your friends have to sit out and take turns to play with you...another huge flaw.
Summary: I used to play 007 from nintendo 64, to playstation 2, now i have it on my ps3. a great upgrade, awesome missions that are new and fresh but yet still gives you the old school Bond feel... With its agent pumped music theme, to the well played out scenes make you really feel a part of the game. :] **** star rating.
Summary: October 31, 2008 - Put a beautiful beau in a hot sports car, toss in a gorgeous babe for him to boink and then prop up a bunch of would-be henchman to stand in between our hero and his goal and you have the recipe for just about every Bond film in history. Of course, with every movie comes a game of the same name and Quantum of Solace is no different.
Summary: This game is good. It is not excellent... just good. The gameplay is fun, and you will find yourself "plowing" through levels with excitement. I have not seen the movie yet so I can't tell you if it is "movie accurate". However, the majority of this game is shooting. Occassionally you will have to hack a code or climb something or walk along a beam, but other that that... it is all shooting. There is also no blood, in case you were wondering.
