not advanced enough

  • Summary: Voice action is good and the Aston Martin is a fast car but over all the game is to basic compared to its rivals. No fun and no innovation at all. 007 games for the ps2 are much better so this is a huge step back for bloodstone.

This game is like a stone - it's nothing special.

  • Excerpt: Since the outstanding 007 game known as Goldeneye, various producers and game makers have attempted to create a game that surpassed the classic, all to no avail. Blood Stone is another one of those games. However, i believe that, although the past few 007 games weren't as good as Goldeneye, i still think they deserve a good amount of praise for what they do well. The question is, does Blood Stone have anything good in it? We'll just have to see.
  • Pros: Solid and entertaining gameplay, Felt like a 007 movie
  • Cons: Some annoying driving sections, Nothing truly unique or exceptional, A bit Repetitive

A far cry from Goldeneye; bitterly disappointing.

  • Excerpt: Like any self-respecting global mega franchise, every James Bond film nowadays is accompanied without fail by a video game that launches itself onto shop shelves around about the time that the movie is released. Yet unusually Bond games are never pre judged as mediocre and dismissed out of hand in the same way that most other movie tie ins are.

  • Pros: Solid driving sections, some good gameplay mechanics, excellent production values
  • Cons: Unacceptably short campaign, woeful multiplayer, uninspiring in too many places
