Summary: As a kid, being a superhero was a dream of mine. When I discovered that I had no powers, and that radioactive waste was more like to give you cancer than to bless you with superhuman strength, it was devastating. However, it was wonderful to discover that videogames are able to fill that void. The Batman: Arkham and Spiderman games are a personal favorite of mine, and I recently added Infamous to that list.
Summary: So, thanks to my friend, I was finally able to catch up on some excellent titles from the PS3 catalog. Most recently, I have finished inFamous, the open world sandbox game that came out a few years ago. The verdict? Not bad. It didn't blow me away- I'll say that much. There were some "wow" moments, I suppose. The biggest problem with a game that is trying to "wow" so much is that they often skimp on story. inFamous is a perfect example.
Summary: This game is just plain exciting. I love sandbox games but never before did I think there would be a sandbox with super powers. I love the plot to the game (I love the fact that you are in Empire City during a massive quarantine which everyone blames you for it and you must prove to them you are the good guy not the bad guy) and I love the option to do Evil or Good inbetween mission. No game can compare to this. It is a game like no other!
